Temple Sowerby House is perfectly suited to arranging small, intimate wedding parties and it really is just like having your own Country House Party. TSH offers you private use of the house for your wedding, with exclusive use of all the bedroom accommodation and dining arrangements.
Celebrate your special day with up to 40 of your close friends and family witnessing your marriage and afterwards, enjoying a stylish reception.
A total of 24 of your special guests can stay overnight too, with additional accommodation arranged in the village for you should this be required.
We will create a menu just for you as our menus are designed to be unique to your wedding and may even include a favourite family dish. Our AA Two Rosette Dining Award ensures the standard and quality is consistently high.
Comfortable bedrooms with luxury toiletries, cosy lounges with log fires, discreet service, very good food and a lovely old walled garden all combine to make Temple Sowerby House the perfect setting for your country wedding.
TSH is a lovely old house but it is not a suitable venue for an evening reception with dancing.
