Dinner by candlelight in The Restaurant will be a highlight of your stay. Head Chef, Ashley Whittaker, prepares a monthly changing à la carte dinner menu, designed to retain a seasonal flavour and use the best of fresh, local produce, including a selection of herbs, fruit and vegetables from the garden too.
The range of superb local produce includes lamb from the fells, beef and pork from local farms, venison from local estates, freshly caught seafood and locally produced cheeses.
Special diets can also be catered for, especially if prior notice is given.
To complement the seasonal menus, the Wine List has been personally chosen to reflect an interesting range, drawn from an international market.
There isn’t a strict dress code for dinner, but smart, casual is appropriate in the evenings.
